The Roncalli College Outdoor Education Programme was a winner of the Outdoors NZ Best Outdoor Education Programme sponsored by EONZ.

Our nationally regarded Outdoor Education Programme includes

• Year 10 camp to the Boyle River
• Year 11, 12 & 13 Outdoor Education Courses 
• Sea Kayaking and Whitewater Kayaking Expeditions
• Stand Up Paddleboarding
• Field Trips
• Leadership with local Primary Schools
• Tramping Trips
• Mountain Biking (Locally and on Trips)
• Rock Climbing (Indoor wall at school and local crags)
• Skiing and Snowboarding
• Mountaincraft 
• The Duke of Edinburgh's Hillary Award
