Year 12/13 Outdoor Education Snow trip
Year 12 and 13 Outdoor Education Snow trip to Coronet Peak Monday 15 August to Friday 19 August. We stayed in the Southland Ski Association Lodge which is located 200m from the Coronet Peak base station. This provided a unique opportunity for the students to maximize their skiing/snowboarding learning time.

The focus of the trip was on Skiing or Snowboarding skills as well as self-management in an alpine environment. Expectations were set based on class attendance and attitude in class prior to the trip that the students needed to meet in each lesson in order to go on the trip. This is due to the unique environment that we are going into and the high level of trust that this requires.
