Holiday work for Examination Candidates - FRENCH
Year 11 NCEA Level One
Students are to revise daily, as always!
Please work your way through the
HEALTH UNIT you have been given – noting and learning new vocab, completing all exercises, and attempting at least ONE of the essay questions at the end.You may choose to write in the work booklet, or on separate paper.

Work through the yellow spiral-bound book of grammar notes for NCEA that you have been given. Make a note of anything requiring further explanation from me.

Use the green NCEA Practice Book, including the CD for the listening exercises. There are answers in the back. If you write any essays, I will mark those next term.

Use Language Perfect to ensure you know ALL the vocab in the Level 1 list – you have had this facility (and the hard copy list) all year!

There are countless other websites where you can practise structures, listen to authentic spoken French etc.

Year 12 NCEA Level Two

Continue working through your Correspondence Course booklets. Please get ready to do your first speaking assignment (2.2 – Spoken Presentation ) – you have been given the topic by your tutor.

Work through any old notes from last year, and anything I have given you this year.

Important: Please work your way through the Chapter 8 on
EMPLOYMENT in
Tapis Volant Senior. Do all exercises relating to this, in the text book and in the workbook. Please don’t write in the workbook – write on separate sheets, noting each page and exercise number carefully. I will mark all of this next term.

Learn all the vocab on the related list – Le Monde du Travail

Re-read the WHOLE book on Provence. Once you get going, you will find this enjoyable. You do not have to understand every word you read.

Revise all grammar and language notes given this year, especially the pages on Level 8 structures given out recently.
