Incubator Programme
This is a South Canterbury District Health Board initiative, whereby students who are interested in learning more about a health profession have a series of presentations with various health professionals.

Careers Adviser/ Guidance Counsellor

University Entrance
The  University Entrance  requirement is the same for all universities/polytechnics.

The process for entering courses at University also requires a G.E.S (Guaranteed Entry Score).
There are a number of points required between 120 – 180 which depends on the course and the University (see links below). Your top 80 Level 3 credits are taken (no more than 24 per subject) and given a score depending on the level attained.

Excellence – 4 points per credit
Merit – 3 points per credit
Achieved- 2 points per credit

These are then totaled for your point score.
